The PV7 (Single battery banks) and PV7D (Dual battery banks) are cost effective shunting regulators designed for smaller 6V, 12V, or 24V Solar Only applications with a maximum solar charging current of 7A. These solar charge controllers are easily expandable to handle charging currents from 30 to 500A. These controllers are extremely efficient, accurate, salt water spray resistant, and very small (1.5 x 2 ). They can be used for solar water pumps and a marine environment. Use with Lead Acid or Gel battery technologies. Like the NC25A they also uses only 4mA to operate the circuitry.
